First call: who are you?
We talk about your goals, your life, and how you actually learn. Before any lesson starts.
For travelers heading to Morocco, partners of Moroccans navigating dinner-table conversation, and the diaspora finally learning to speak with family. The way locals actually do, not the way textbooks teach.
We talk about your goals, your life, and how you actually learn. Before any lesson starts.
Built around what excites you. Family, travel, cooking, football, that's where we start.
Online, paced to you, no 12-week marathon. We adjust as you grow.

The phrasebook
Most of my students start from zero, and most are learning because of someone in their life: a partner, a parent, a friend.
We start with a short call about what you want to be able to say, and I build the lessons from there. It's all in Latin letters, so you don't need to read Arabic.
The first 15 minutes are free.

Salma is a wonderful Darija teacher. She adapts perfectly to your individual needs, explains everything patiently and clearly, and keeps the lessons very structured. You can really feel the effort and passion she puts into her teaching.
I recommend 100%. She speaks French, English, and she takes care to adapt her lessons according to your level. Don't hesitate.
No. Darija is the spoken Moroccan dialect. You can read Modern Standard Arabic and still not understand Darija. Most students start from zero, that's fine.
Not unless you want to. The phrasebook and lessons use Latin transliteration so you can read everything from day one. Arabic script is included in the phrasebook for reference.
Most of my students are. We start with whatever's exciting to you. Family, travel, food, music. Build from there.
Depends on your goal. Most students hold a basic conversation after 6 to 10 lessons. Survival phrases for a trip can be ready in 2 to 3.
No pressure to book lessons after. The 15 minutes is genuinely free. You'll leave with at least three phrases worth using.
